Position Overview
As a Furniture Mover & Driver at Interior Drama, you will play a crucial role in delivering and installing furniture for staging and rentals. Your efforts will help transform spaces across the Chicago area, supporting our mission to elevate environments with style and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load, transport, unload, and arrange furniture, accessories, and staging materials at client properties.
Drive company vehicles (training provided; CDL preferred but not required).
Employ proper packing and wrapping techniques to protect items during transit.
Navigate efficiently between job sites while maintaining punctuality and professionalism.
Treat client property with respect, ensuring impeccable handling and setup.
Maintain a clean and tidy appearance, including keeping vehicles and equipment in good condition.
Communicate courteously and clearly with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license required; commercial license preferred.
Capable of repeatedly lifting and carrying heavy items (75+ lbs) throughout the workday.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Ability to pass a background check.
Previous moving, delivery, or general labor experience is a plus—but not required.
