Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of raw material, sub-assemblies, and WIP for all Electronical products and components at all stages of production.
Skilled user of measuring tools and equipment, micrometer, caliper, height gauge, rulers, go-no gages.
Work with other QA personnel to monitor and report Incoming/Inline/Final inspection results. Work closely with Production and QA to ensure all corrective containment activities are effective.
Report inspection results and quality issues to the Quality Manager.
Report all production rejects, non-conformities, and production-generated scrap material to ensure conformance to the companies' processes.
Work closely with QA and Engineering to ensure all critical product characteristics are understood. Capable of operating all QA Inspection equipment, tools, force gauges, and microscopes.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED (required), associate or bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant equivalent experience, desirable. Bilingual, fluent in Spanish
4+ years of related experience in the cable manufacturing industry is desired, or relevant equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience of quality disciplines (ISO), lean manufacturing techniques, and process/procedure development and documentation Advanced computer skills, including MS Office applications
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, other supervisors, and all employees
