Regional Maintenance Technician at Sparkle Express Car Wash
Position Overview:
Sparkle Express Car Wash is seeking a motivated and skilled Regional Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our car wash sites across Chicago, Elgin, Matteson, Cicero, and Calumet City. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks to keep our equipment and facilities in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of car wash equipment and facilities.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with site managers to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide emergency on-call support for any urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours, as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in maintenance, particularly in car wash or similar operations, is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between sites as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 50-hour work week.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from $20 to $25, based on experience and qualifications.
- One week of paid vacation after a year of full-time employment.
