We are looking for a full-time Podiatric Medical Assistant with the ability to multitask and able to handle a fast paced, but fun work environment. This position will require travel to our surrounding locations in Northbrook and Wheeling on a as needed basis. $50 gas card per month.
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Taking X-Rays
-Recording medical history and vitals
-Rooming patients
-Assisting physicians with minor in-office medical procedures
-Clean and maintain instruments
-Cleaning treatment rooms
-Communicating patient needs with physicians
-Assisting physician with charting
-Returning patient phone calls
Some receptionist duties such as answering phones and making patient appointments (if receptionist is busy)
Administrative duties
Other duties as assigned
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch, or kneel; use hands; and talk or hear.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
1 year of Medical Assistant Experience (preferred)
Motivated and extremely positive attitude
Excellent communicator
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance rules and regulations
Willing and Able to travel to surrounding locations as needed
