Looking for a live-in, weekend caregiver for my senior mom who lived in Glenview. Compensation is a flat fee of $550 for the weekend from approx 8am Sat - 8am Monday however there is some flexibility with the alternate weekday caregiver if these days/times don’t work.
We pay electronically through Zelle every weekend or as needed WE DO NOT PAY HOURLY. We have a fixed budget we cannot exceed so please do not give us an hourly rate or try to negotiate higher. We recently lost our regular weekend person who became sick so we are looking to replace her. We are a very caring, loving family who is seeking someone to be an extended part of our family. Mom loves to joke and laugh and engage in good conversations.
All meals are provided.
Caregiver must speak English well enough to communicate important information through phone calls or texts, and have a positive, happy, personality. We are open to all ages, races, and cultures and welcome diversity in our home. A vehicle is NOT required but a bonus if you have one for emergencies.
Caregiver must have references, pass a complete background check and sign a caregivers contract. You will also be required to submit a copy of the front and back of your drivers license.
My mother is a very fun-loving, warm and affectionate lady who walks and talks fine but she needs social interaction, someone to provide meals, assistance with going to the bathroom and proper medication dispersement. She has mid level dementia and she gets frightened at night with sundowner syndrome so she needs a tender person to hold her hand, rub her back and make her feel safe.
Caregiver will have her own bathroom, closet and her bed inside my mother’s bedroom (she is frightened to sleep alone).
