Situated on the western side of Chicago, IL, Madison Pine Dental Clinic has proudly served the South Austin community for a span exceeding 30 years. With a legacy of over three decades, Madison Pine Dental Clinic continues to thrive within the Austin neighborhood on Chicago's west side. The clinic provides an extensive and unparalleled level of patient care, ensuring outcomes aligned with patients' aspirations and the smiles they rightly merit. The well-being of patients remains the clinic's paramount concern, steadfastly dedicated to enhancing their appearance and confidence. Currently, the clinic is in search of a dedicated full-time Dental Assistant and a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to integrate into their dynamic team. The comprehensive job description is outlined as follows:

Some of the job responsibilities will consist of the following, depending on the position:

- Assist in a variety of treatment procedures.

- Applying and removing orthodontic devices, such as braces, wires, brackets and retainers

- Take dental x-rays and dental impressions

- Setup and breakdown operatory post treatment

- Assist Orthodontists during procedures by providing necessary tools

- Preparing patients for dental procedures by explaining the treatment process

- Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice

- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

- Maintaining patient records and documenting dental care services

- Teaching patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing and flossing around orthodontic devices

Ideal candidate must possess the following:

- Must be prompt and ready to work.

- Ideal candidate should have dual capabilities with dental assisting as well as scheduling

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Professional demeanor and friendly bedside manner.

- Dentrix knowledge a plus!

- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

- Ability to work collaboratively with other members on the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
