We are hiring for the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays and 7:30am-1:30pm on Fridays.
This job is ONLY for a the right candidate who has the passion to grow and wants to keep learning.
The Dental Assistant team player to fill this position is quick on their feet, takes initiative to help, has a nice and kind personality, and works great on the room with the dentist and patients. A calm and fun personality, that is not easily overwhelmed.
We are always looking to expand our dental knowledge. Online and in-person courses are expected and some travel is expected for courses. Growth opportunities available.
Pay based on experience (Pay range is $21-24 based on experience.)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by suctioning, handling dental instruments and anticipating the dentist needs
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Comfort and educate patients on proper oral healthcare needs
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Take digital and traditional impressions
- Maintaining clean work environment through use of medical grade solutions
Skills:
- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to process digital x-ray sensors,
- Communicate using dental terminology and understand documentation programs
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining dental records
