Pay: $8.50/hr
Flexible with schedule and must have weekend availability
Teamwork, enthusiasm, food and wine knowledge, the ability to multitask and a high energy level are necessary for success in this position. Previous restaurant server experience is highly recommended.
Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 4-8 table section including, but not limited to:
following all steps of service and bussing the table to ensure a positive guest experience
accurately record and account for all items ordered
process payments, and
balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs. Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions. Successfully complete Illinois BASSET Certification program. Also servers need to obtain Illinois Food Handler Certification once they are hired.
