Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented Prep Chef in a fast paced, customer facing restaurant. Customer service is top priority while the entire kitchen is customer facing.
Duties:
- Positive attitude while serving customers.
- Follow recipes and prepare ingredients for menu items
- Closing duties such as breaking down sections, dishes and floors.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, grill, oven.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Food handlers certification required (not needed at time of hire)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Some POS experience preferred.
This position offers extensive training of a small menu to develop culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
