We offer a weekly meal service for both pick-up and delivery, as well as in-home dining events, and catering. Job Responsibilities as Prep Chef & Baking Lead
Review of all orders for the day and week
Assistance in daily prep lists
Assist in preparing all menu items with the kitchen team
Assist in documenting food production procedures and updating recipes
Manage production of all baked items
Participates in educating and assisting walk-in customers.
Oversees the organization of storage areas
Receiving and inspection of incoming product by following proper rotation of product FIFO
Participates in cleanliness and organization of kitchen close down duties
Responsible for inventory of Containers
Responsible for Menu Management, which includes adding detailed ingredient list & cooking instructions for all menu items each week on a shared Google doc. (Are the highlighted above all part of this position? If not, let’s eliminate)
Understand the philosophy and principles of the business (Klean Kitchen), and its owner (Chef Beau)
Get to know our website and how our online ordering system and guidelines work

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food items and ingredients needed for menu items according to prescribed recipes and special requests in a high-volume kitchen
Produce delicious and well-executed food that aligns with the nutritional mission
Maintain the highest standards for food safety and cleanliness
Be a participant in an active and well-organized production kitchen
Lead the crew in baking efficiencies
Keep our Retail Case full of fresh baked items all week
Work with crew on Thursday to implement baking assignments for the following week per production sheet
Work independently on Friday’s via Chef Shannon’s production sheet requests
Work with Chef Shannon to make sure baking orders are completed each week
Qualifications:
Experience working in high-volume food production
Able to stand and work with your hands for 6-8hr at a time
Possess a strong sense of urgency
Strong knife skills
Strong Baking Skills
Possess a team-oriented approach to problem-solving
Show a willingness to learn from others
Work Schedule: Times/days make change based on daily production-
Monday 8:00am –2p or until work is done
Thursday 8-3p or until work is done
Friday 9a – 4p or until work is done
Saturday 9a-4p or until work is done
Availability to work other shifts to cover coworkers will be highly encouraged

Salary Compensation & Agreement for a Prep Chef & Baking Lead
Pay: $23/hr
30-Day Trial Period @ $20hr. Then, if hired, a $3hr retro back-pay will be compensated for all the hours worked during the 30 day trail period (calendar, actual working days).
$500 Bonus in 6 month if ZERO unexcused absences occur within the first 6months
Only 2 unexcused absences are allowed within a calendar year.
1 Week Salary Bonus will be paid if no unexcused absence occurs within 12mo
o “Unexcused absences” are calling in absent with less then 24hr notice.
