Prep & Line Cook responsibilities include:
Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with restaurant standards.
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the immediate supervisor.
The ideal candidates would have:
At least 2 years of commercial kitchen experience.
Possess a food handler's certification.
A passion for cooking.
An understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
The ability to follow recipes and create your own.
The ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
Be friendly and able to work under pressure.
The ability to work as a team
Weekend shift availability.
