We’re looking for friendly and laid back people to be part of our team. Bluebird opened in 2016 and has been a neighborhood staple ever since. We’re looking for someone to be part of our team and help serve up our award winning burgers and fried chicken sandwiches.
We were featured in Eater’s best burger in the city, Zagat, Thrillist, Chicago Magazine, and many food blogs over the years!
We take pride in being a local neighborhood spot and really strive to be part of the community. Our goal is to provide everyone with friendly service and excellent food.
We are located at 2863 N. Clark St. Chicago, IL 60657. The Clark Street bus stops right outside our front door and the Diversy and Wellington brown line stops are both just a few blocks away.
Part time positions available
Our Requirements:
Willingness to show up on time and ready to work.
Friendly and respectful attitude towards guests and teammates
Willingness to learn and follow health guidelines
Basic bartending and/or serving experience
Any experience with delivery apps for servers
BASSETT and/or Food handlers license is a plus
What you can expect from us:
$18/HR, plus tips. Time and a half for every hour worked over 40.

If you have a food handlers, allergens certification and/or Basset license, that’s a huge plus, but if not we are more than happy to train and get you one. Additionally if you have experience dealing with high customer volume or working with delivery services (such as DoorDash or Grub Hub) that also a bonus! We do love to be flexible, but working nights and weekends will be required.
