Typist

Description We are currently in search of a skilled Typist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with setting up and using new computer systems, typing dictations of notes and documents, and providing assistance to the client. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately and quickly type various documents and notes Assist a visually impaired client with their daily tasks Set up and utilize new computer systems Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively Handle email correspondence and schedule appointments as needed Answer inbound calls and provide top-tier customer service Carry out data entry tasks and maintain updated records Manage both inbound and outbound calls efficiently Display proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling purposes.Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries Demonstrable experience in data entry with high accuracy Ability to manage email correspondence effectively Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and email management Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for creating and editing presentations Proficient in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently Typing speed of over 60 words per minute with high accuracy TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
