Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant. The primary function of this role is to manage and maintain financial records, perform account reconciliations, and assist with tax returns. The workplace is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Responsibilities: Accurate processing and management of personal and business tax returns Regularly perform account, balance sheet and bank reconciliations Efficient handling of general ledger entries and month-end close activities Analyze and prepare financial statements including year-end P& L and Balance Sheet Maintain and update inventory reports as required Ensure accurate and timely updating of Current AR and AP Aging Reports Provide assistance with LLC tax filing procedures Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Manage and resolve any discrepancies in derivatives profit and loss records Conduct audits as required, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Mastery of Balance Sheet Reconciliation Experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Expertise in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close operations Knowledge of Corporate Tax Return processes Ability to prepare and analyze Inventory Reports Proficiency in using QuickBooks Understanding of Derivatives Profit & Loss Ability to analyze Financial Statements Experience in conducting and managing AuditsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
