RG19368Position: Senior Software Engineer - PythonLocation: Chicago, ILCompensation: $110,000 - $120,000 + 7% Profit Sharing + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation Job Description:This top global Fortune 500 Client currently has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer using Python.You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Maintenance and Diagnostic procedures for diagnostic test analyzers. You will support and implement IronPython scripts.Responsibilities:Software development responsibilities include executing software development life cycle activities from software requirements, design and implementation through design verification.Develop, test and integrate software using current software technologies.Responsible for fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities during system integration and testing for systems in development and On-Market.Able to apply the latest software design and development tools and techniques as required.Ability to work with cross functional teams to maintain/advance the Maintenance and Diagnostics strategy and held accountable for the work output. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering or scientific field.6+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with a Master’s degree Excellent knowledge of programming concepts using scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Ruby highly preferred. Familiar with Microsoft .NET technology framework and object-oriented programming preferred. Knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle preferred.
