This highly visible role within Global Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations will deliver on global systems and tooling initiatives for LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions line of business (LMS). In this role, you will lead a team, building and scaling both third-party (3P) and first-party (1P) Sales and Operations tools. You will manage a team of product owners for our Salesforce instance, harnessing its capabilities to transform our highly integrated CRM and customer engagement processes. Additionally, your team serves as a vital business partner to our Product, Engineering, and Technical Program Management teams, representing business requirements for 1P tool development, and acting as the “voice of the business” on internal technology initiatives. You will build strong relationships with business leaders and collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize, define roadmaps, and deliver best-in-class systems and tooling solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future of GTM Operations for LinkedIn’s growing media business.Responsibilities

Own customer requirements (user stories, use cases), business requirements, and communicate the long-term vision and goals that drive the tooling strategies for LMS Sales CRM and Media Productivity tools

Inspire excellence through example, coaching, and developing a team of product owners; foster a positive and values-driven team culture    

Owns business planning and LMS Sales systems and tools roadmap

Define strategies for B2B 3P/1P tools based on industry leading solutions including Salesforce, Gong, and revenue/forecasting tooling platforms

Deep understanding engineering, product, and got-to-market capabilities/processes and is able to align leadership of dependent teams on necessary structural and/or resource changes to deliver efficiencies

Set release goals for a large portfolio of LMS Sales systems and tools, prioritize features according to customer value, and adjust throughout implementation as needed

Develop methods for prioritization and triage of bugs for team to apply, make key decisions on showstoppers and end product/system/tool quality

Create and maintain team processes as well as communication channels to effectively manage actions to meet deadlines while building at high velocity 

Regularly assess and communicate project constraints or risks globally; identify project dependencies and mitigation plans 

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of managing direct reports

6+ years of experience in sales product, strategy, or operations

6+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform (PM, Admin, and/or Dev) and other internal, first-party sales technology applications

6+ years of software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience as a business partner or analyst, authoring business requirements and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams

Experience with Sales and Sales Operations workflows and processes, including:

Sales customer engagement

Account planning/segmentation/territory planning

Sales compensation

Sales forecasting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in ads/media sales operations; understands the media sales cycle

Experience leading sales or business process transformation initiatives

Experience building for scale; comfortable with data and ambiguity

Experience evaluating new tools and weighing in on build vs. buy decisions

Understands agile methodologies and ways of working

Understands Product Management best practices; experience working as or with Product Managers

Comfortable and skilled at understanding customer needs and advocating for business users

Demonstrated ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Innovative and focused on continuous improvement, staying up to date with the latest industry trends

Familiar with analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
