Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a motivated HR Recruiter in the nonprofit/healthcare industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the hiring process, from conducting phone screens to scheduling interviews. This is a rewarding role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:

Identifying future staffing needs and creating compelling job descriptions.

Collaborate seamlessly with department managers to establish a comprehensive list of job requirements and expectations.

Harness the power of databases, online forums, and social media to attract quality candidates who align with nonprofit mission

Oversee the complete interview process, carefully evaluating applicants' knowledge, skills, and experiences for optimal job fit.

Manage the hiring paperwork ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new team members.

Amplify the organization's reputation as an excellent employment opportunity generator in the nonprofit sector.

Stay current on federal and state employment legislation and regulations, enforcing them within the company.

Proven experience in filling multiple positions, managing 3-4 openings simultaneously. Ideal candidate has 3-4 years' recruiting experience.

Execute duties predominantly from home, with occasional travel to various sites within the Chicagoland area.

Requirements Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services

Familiarity with Careerbuilder and its functionalities Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of conducting background checks Understanding of benefit functions within a corporate setting Experience with various hiring processes Ability to conduct phone screens effectively Experience in scheduling and conducting interviews Proven record of effective interviewing techniques Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
