Job TitleProposal ManagerJob Description SummaryJob Description SummaryThis is a 14-month contract position responsible for leading the proposal management efforts for our Global Occupier Services (GOS) Enterprise Sales team, ensuring the clarity, compliance, and integrity of all pursuit-related documents. This Proposal Manager collaborates with sales, commercial, and platform teams, acting as the key liaison to coordinate all internal work streams for finalizing proposal responses. This individual will write, track, and review all proposal content with cross-functional business teams and oversee the final submission. Additionally, a Proposal Manager is responsible for developing all presentation materials, effectively communicating our client solution and value. The preferred candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. While the ideal candidate is located in Chicago, Dallas, or St. Louis, remote candidates are also welcome.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

This high-visibility role calls for a confident and creative professional with excellent strategic-thinking, writing, project management, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Manage the entire proposal and presentation development process, leading regional multi-service and single service line pursuits; this includes RFPs, presentations, and various client deliverables.

Ensure every member of the pursuit team, including sales leads, solution managers, operational subject matter experts, pricing, and graphic designers know what is expected and when tasks are due.

Work closely with sales leads and operational subject matter experts to develop proposal responses and best-in-class presentations.

Work with sales team and leadership to ensure required approvals at various stages are met.

Identify all graphic design needs and engage appropriate design resources.

Develop a tailored proposal clearly describing the value of the solution; liaise with subject matter experts as required to contribute to and review the response.

Write Executive Summaries and cover letters tailored to client solutions

Oversee production and on-time electronic and/or hardcopy delivery to clients.

Support Senior Proposal Managers with multi-service or global pursuits.

Pull baseline responses from content library to develop first drafts for proposals; review and edit final drafts.

Lead regional and global RFIs including project management, response development, and collaboration with sales team and subject matter experts.

Write, edit, format, and proof all proposal and presentation deliverables; responsible for conducting red team reviews with team members to ensure high-quality work product.

Manage the preparation of other deliverables related to the new business opportunity such as presentations and follow-up requests.

Attend prep sessions as needed/requested by sales leads and pursuit teams.

Support new content development efforts and strategic firm initiatives as needed.

Upload all final deliverables to proposal and presentation libraries.

Perform pursuit close-out activities; work with Knowledge Management to ensure revised and new content is uploaded to content library.

Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred

2+ years of experience working in a proposal management environment.

Knowledge & Experience

Demonstrates experience in proposal management environment.

Project management skills with experience in developing, communicating, and managing against project plans with defined timelines.

Skills & Personal Qualities

Ability to multitask while creating high-end results.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with ability to articulate complex concepts simply and effectively.

Detail-oriented; strong organizational skills and effective time management.

Commercial real estate industry knowledge and experience is preferred; the right candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and Adobe Acrobat.
