Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the legal industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves handling a variety of family law cases in a fast-paced environment and utilizing legal technology efficiently. Responsibilities: Handling a diverse range of family law cases including divorce, custody, and support disputes Utilizing legal practice management software and cloud-based platforms for efficient case handling Demonstrating expertise in e-filing systems for state and local jurisdictions Communicating effectively with various stakeholders including clients, courts, and other attorneys Managing high caseloads and maintaining accurate client records Utilizing strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines Executing detailed research techniques to investigate relevant case law Using analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize information related to cases Utilizing Microsoft tools and other document automation tools for efficient case management Managing calendars effectively to ensure all deadlines and appointments are met. Requirements Proven experience as a Paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department Familiarity with Family Law is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in electronic filing (e-Filing) systems Effective skills in Calendar Management, able to organize and schedule meetings efficiently Strong understanding and knowledge in ParaLegals practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and in a team environment Bachelor's degree in law or related field is preferred Paralegal certification may be required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
