Job DescriptionLocation: Remote and Oak Lawn, ILHospital: RUSH University Medical CenterDepartment: Clinical Nutrition-CHSWork Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)Shift: Shift 1Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM)Hybrid position - Remote and Oak LawnSummary:In addition to implementing the nutrition intervention program, this position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-orientated, flexible, and able to multi-task and manage time extremely well. Will work closely with other Case Managers, Lead Dietitian, Research Assistants, and study PI in all aspects of this position; therefore, a strong team work ethic is imperative. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Responsibilities: 85% - Manages caseload of up to 75 participants and implements the healthy lifestyle intervention program. Healthy lifestyle includes guiding participants to goals in nutrition and/or physical activity. Supports and improves study participants' motivation, adherence, and attendance through excellent interpersonal skills via in-person meetings, group classes, phone calls, and emails. 5% - Creates, manages, and regularly updates scheduling systems to ensure proper workflow of study procedures. 5% - Attends regular team meetings to discuss matters concerning participants, data collection, and problem solving. 5% - Services crossover duties such as participation in recruitment processes, administrative tasks such as scheduling and making phone calls, and creative duties such as intervention materials development and reproduction. Complies with ethical standards for research involving human subjects. Performs related duties as assigned. May be required to travel to multiple study sites, so this position requires means of transportation.Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science or a health related field (examples include but are not limited to: nutrition and dietetics, exercise science) with 3 years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience where the required knowledge skills and abilities have been acquired. Strong evidence-based analytical approach to problem solving; equally strong written and verbal communication skills that will be used to synthesize information, formulate and implement proposals for change, and to objectively evaluate results and make practical recommendations. Able to work and problem-solve independently and efficiently. Highly organized and able to effectively plan, track, evaluate and follow-up on multiple projects· Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems in a complex environment. Sense of urgency around customer service and ability to model behavior to others. Self-directed proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Access Excel and other data analysis tools and methodologies required for data gathering, analysis and presentation preparation.Preferred Job Qualifications:
