Aon is looking for a North America Human Capital Chief Operating Officer who is responsible for defining and continuously evolving the Aon Business Services (ABS) portfolio and product roadmap aligned to Solution Line goals and strategy. This leader reports to the North America Chief Operating Officer and the Global Human Capital COO. Complete the NA Target Operating Model for Human Capital in line with the overall NA Target Operating Model and the organization's Human Capital strategy.

Lead the technology and capability roadmap for NA Human Capital across Health, Wealth and Talent aligned with the global Human Capital Capabilities roadmap, which requires deep domain across each of the three solution line areas

Develop the operating model and portfolio strategy inclusive of digital product enablement and product vision for the NA Human Capital Solution Lines that tie to the North America and ABS strategic goals and direction

Develop the client experience strategy to differentiate Human Capital products in North America and that is consistent with the Global Human Capital client experience

Prioritize programs and demand to deliver the Human Capital strategy based on overall business value and North America need to optimize investments and utilization of Aon services / capabilities that meet strategic objectives of significant growth and margin expansion

Laser focus on speed/path to value realization to enable differentiated client and carrier experiences

Champion innovation and continuous value; orchestrate internal and external multi-functional partners to define, validate and refine ABS product and platform vision, strategy, and roadmaps

Operate the North America and Technology governance processes to enable prioritization across multiple options and decisions that impact North America Solution Lines and the ABS budget

Responsible for leading the risk profile across the multiple product teams of a technology stack inclusive of end-to-end processes and systems across the North America Human Capital portfolio

Responsible for risk compliance across data privacy and cyber security protecting client and Aon data inclusive of North America regional and local regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Health, Wealth and Talent leaders to implement the business strategy that helps achieve the revenue growth and margin objectives for NA Human Capital

Deliver 3x3 product and technology capabilities aligned with the global strategy by partnering with the ABS capability leads across technology and operations

Deliver the target operating model for Human Capital aligned with the global TOM and client experience vision

Lead client service delivery for NA Human Capital operations across Health, Wealth and Talent to ensure best in class client experience and year on year efficiency improvement

Lead operational support functions across Health, Wealth and Talent and use the global functional capabilities

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Strong operational transformation experience with experience in delivering operating model changes to deliver enhanced client experience and operational efficiency

Experience in balancing country and region needs across a solution line portfolio

Deep industry knowledge and insights into key competitors’ strategies and product roadmaps across Health, Wealth & Talent

Demonstrated experience in Product and Portfolio Management across multiple segments including consolidating disparate products into a unified portfolio focused on scaled capabilities

Experience in focused, sustainable value realization partnering across a highly matrixed organization

Experience in building and running a portfolio of products and services providing capabilities across Health, Wealth and Talent

Experience in translating product and services strategy into cost to serve models designing optimal support strategies in partnership with shared operations

Technical

Experience in leading products and services improving technologies across Health, Wealth and Talent in areas such as Benefits, data & analytics, retirement and benefits

Experience in building and using technology to provide industry leading capabilities across Human Capital

Good understanding of the portfolio components in-scope

Proven ability to lead and prioritize product roadmaps and portfolio prioritization

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum 15 years’ related experience leading product portfolios and operations for $1 billion+ portfolios

Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at a most senior level

Strong market presence within the industry

Cross-cultural sensitivity to engage with, prioritize and inspire change across a national organization

Excellent communicator, with ambitious attitude and high level of accountability for efficiency and client satisfaction

Excellent organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and lead projects and direct reports. Ability to drive team(s) to deliver the highest in service, quality, and results

Previous formal people/organization management experience with excellent analytical skills

Known problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions

Ability to adopt and inspire change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goals
