We are seeking residents of Cook (Chicago), DuPage, Lake, Kane, Will, Grundy, LaSalle, and Kendall Counties, Illinois, to serve as jurors for a mock trial on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of Cook (Chicago), DuPage, Lake, Kane, Will, Grundy, LaSalle, and Kendall Counties, Illinois, ages 18 to 70.
Date of Mock Trial: Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (with 1 hour lunch break)
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST BE a U.S. Citizen
MUST BE a Cook (Chicago), DuPage, Lake, Kane, Will, Grundy, LaSalle, and Kendall County resident for minimum 1 year
MUST BE 18 years of age or older
MUST HAVE a valid Illinois driver’s license or Illinois State I.D. showing a Cook (Chicago), DuPage, Lake, Kane, Will, Grundy, LaSalle, and Kendall County address.
MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY
MUST BE ABLE to sit for extended periods, watch and listen to presentations on a screen, take notes on paper, and complete forms on an iPad.
MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma, persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate
