About the RoleUber for Business is seeking a sharp, results-oriented Mid-Market Account Executive to join our newly formed Logistics team!In this role, you will take ownership of building the new business pipeline, forecasting opportunities, and quickly activating new accounts to achieve quota.Logistics Account Executives work closely with internal partners and cross-functional teams to build solutions and help customers achieve their business goals. You'll use your existing understanding of how logistics companies operate to articulate the value of Uber as a rideshare and meal delivery partner in that space.We're looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals with a strong sales track record. Creatively prospect into logistics within the US

Develop Uber for Business territory plans to grow pipeline and account plans to break into whitespace accounts.

Lead and coordinate end-to-end sales motion for customers including qualification, education, pricing/quoting, and contract negotiation

Build strategic relationships with decision-makers, to drive new business within these partnerships

Continuously assessing customers' evolving needs and aligning Uber for Business' value proposition

Provide opportunity status by regularly updating SFDC, doing weekly forecasts and participating in quarterly business reviews

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of full sales cycle experience (prospecting, pitching, closing)

Consistent track record closing deals with short sales cycles (1-3 months)

Preferred Qualifications

1 year industry experience (carrier sales or shipper sales) is preferred, but not required

Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with a solution-oriented approach to working with prospects and customers.

A deep understanding of logistics industry landscape and high-level industry trends

Clear, meticulous, adaptable, and dedicated team player who gets energy from building business.

Proven success of delivering to annual forecast of at least $2M ACV or in new license/revenue sales

Experience in fast-paced environment

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$75,500 per year - USD$84,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$84,000 per year - USD$93,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered sales bonuses & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
