With 6,500 employees (including 3,000+ lawyers) operating from 18 offices across the United States, Europe and Asia, we are one of the largest law firms in the world and a top financial performer Essential Job Functions The Litigation & Practice Technology ("LPT") Discovery Advisor, will work at the direction of LPT Directors, eDiscovery Committee and other firm attorneys to lead and manage eDiscovery, Information Governance and related technology consulting projects. Ideal candidates will have 10 years (preferred) of experience supporting complex projects at a consulting firm, in-house legal team or AMLAW 100 law firm. Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.) Project Planning, Consulting and Management- In partnership with firm attorneys, d etermine, document and recommend options in support of c lient efforts to identify and address eDiscovery and information governance needs, including: system mapping, data preservation and collection strategies, records management workflows, defensible disposition and technology selection and implementation.
- Lead and manage delivery of projects through facilitation of fact gathering sessions and assessment of client policies, systems and processes to align with industry standards and legal guidance.
- Provide clients objective guidance and recommendations on service providers and new technologies.
- Support execution of internal eDiscovery Committee and LPT Team projects.
- Ability to analyze and document application business functions and propose effective retention, litigation hold and deletion protocols in line with client goals, capabilities and environment.
- Experience in assessing and consulting on information governance needs associated with common enterprise data sources including M365, G Suite, Slack, ERP systems, CRM databases, cloud applications, mobile devices and other employee-issued hardware.
- Experience with leading contract lifecycle management, matter management or document management technologies.
- E xperience collaborating and reaching consensus with common information governance stakeholder groups including client business teams, IT, information security, HR, records management and legal teams.
- Ability to create client deliverables with minimal oversight from senior level leadership.
- Experienced and skilled at developing status reporting and writing documentation using tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio (or equivalent), Excel and other project management tools.
- Strong understanding of technology, computers and computer networking.
- Thorough knowledge of the EDRM and IGRM lifecycles and related best practices.
- Hands-on experience leading complex legal technology implementations, advanced understanding of database setup, mapping and extraction.
- Working knowledge of common data security, privacy and records management standards, protocols and regulations.
- Familiarity with computer forensic tools or techniques (i.e. Encase, Forensic Tool Kit, MacQuisition, Kali Linux, Cellebrite).
- PMP and/or certifications in the Information Governance space including IGP, ERM, CRM, CIPP.
- Familiar with capabilities and utilization of PowerShell, Python and other scripting tools.
- Juris Doctorate (preferred)
- Ability to express thoughts, ideas and information in a clear and compelling manner by highlighting critical points, adjusting messaging to suit the audience, addressing questions and points from others with appropriate responses.

- This position requires some weekend and after hours support and may require occasional travel.
