The Insurance Business Development Analyst job contributes to sales goals, relationship management goals, and business strategy by providing day-to-day support to sales teams and relationship managers. Working independently under general supervision, this job assists in identifying target clients, executing product sales and managing client relationships and development.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Partners with senior sales and relationship managers by providing sales and relationship management support on a daily basis.

Coordinates and executes targeted outreach campaigns to clients and prospects, and assists with additional sales and cross-selling initiatives, in order to support clients and prospects in finding products, solutions and services that best meet their needs.

Coordinate targeted outreach campaigns to clients and prospects.

Monitors industry trends and opportunities by reviewing industry publications, and contributes to overall Insurance team with sales and client service ideas, best practices and learned industry knowledge.

Bachelor’s Degree

Interest in pursuing MBA, CFA or CAIA

Proficiently utilize applications such as Sales Force, S&P Capital IQ and Preqin for meeting preparation, activity & pipeline capture, to run competitive analysis of products.

Contributes to overall Insurance team with sales and client service ideas, best practices and learned industry knowledge.

Responsible for a core competence of Nuveen products and the Nuveen story.

Coordinate or participate in special projects as assigned.

Strong communication and presentation skills

Able to work multiple projects simultaneously
