Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in the healthcare and social assistance industry located in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement with occasional onsite visits. The HR Coordinator will be pivotal in managing various administrative tasks, maintaining employee relations, and assisting in payroll processing.Responsibilities: Oversee administrative duties and ensure smooth operational processes. Foster strong employee relations and address any issues that may arise. Keep track of all employee-related matters and ensure they are properly documented and filed. Assist in payroll processing to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Ensure meticulous organization in all HR-related tasks and responsibilities. Adhere to all industry regulations and standards in all HR processes. Monitor employee accounts and take necessary action when required. Ensure no recruitment tasks are undertaken in this role. Maintain a high level of detail-orientation in all tasks and responsibilities. Requirements Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration Demonstrated ability in Filing and organization Experience in processing payroll Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Excellent problem-solving abilities Knowledge of HR laws and regulations Experience with HR software and digital tools Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting is a plus.
