Job Description SummaryThe primary responsibility of this role is to act as the General Manager (GM) of the Diagnostic Cardiology (DCAR) business and provide multi-functional leadership and strategic direction for the DCAR product segment.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

Establish the vision and strategic plan, including portfolio and overall business strategy, for the DCAR business with the goal of increasing growth and profitability. This leader will continue to lead the transformation of the DCAR business.

Responsible for the wing-to-wing P&L business from product management to engineering deliverables and supply chain aspects. The leader will work closely with all functions to deliver business topline and bottom-line goals.

Define and drive phase in/out actions for the product portfolio including all the activities along the business’ value chain, including manufacturing.

Drive tight relationship with the regions regarding product positioning, allocation, and pricing.

Lead new product launches with the direct and extended cross-functional teams, including service support as well as the installed base offering.

Establish clinical partnership strategy with key opinion leaders. Lead its implementation.

Identify in-organic opportunities in close partnership with the business development team.

Build a world class wing to wing business team to deliver against customer, shareholder, and employee expectations.

Actively drive simplification within the organization.

Drive alignment with the central care area team on cardiology workflow. Be an active member to align and drive the central cardiology priorities for the company.

Participate as an active member of the Patient Care Solutions business leadership team.

Drive attention to quality and patient safety to ensure compliance with all QMS related procedures.

Ensure knowledge and compliance of integrity and company policies.

Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field.

10+ years’ experience in product marketing, product management / development, or engineering fields.

Supply chain awareness and some expertise will be required.

Prior experience in a broad leadership role with direct & indirect reports in product development, marketing, operations and/or sales.

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Strong analytical and process skills

Strong problem solving skills.

Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or master’s degree

Experience in product marketing, product management or related field (including market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management).

Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen specifically linked to DCAR, n the Cardiology and/or critical care space.

Wing-to-wing experience.

Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and product strategy.

Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas.

Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to work globally.

Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
