You enjoy working with others, are results-driven, and seek various opportunities to develop personally and professionally.The RoleThe Director of Transactions serves as the primary point of contact representing Hyatt in connection with hotel ownership transactions. The Director works directly with hotel owners, asset managers, lenders, and management companies on contracts and relationship matters relating to third party-owned Hyatt system hotels, while simultaneously coordinating among Hyatt leaders across multiple corporate departments to achieve Hyatt’s business objectives. Essential skills for a Director of Corporate Transactions include sound commercial judgment, mastery of hotel economics, ability to work independently as well as coordinate project-dependent teams, leadership, project management and organization, strong communications skills, and tact. A working knowledge of hotel management and hotel franchise agreements is a plus. Organization, attention to detail, and diplomatic demeanor are necessary traits.Qualifications:Experience Required:5 years of hospitality (or comparable industry) experience in feasibility, finance, development, asset management, transactions, or similarBachelor’s Degree or higherExperience Preferred:Hotel Management and/or accounting degree or MBAExperience in hotel transactionsExperience at a hospitality industry franchisorThe position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing.
