Assistant Project Manager

Description:

Help lead project by working closely with architects, engineers, client, and internal Project Managers/Superintendents

Working with JOCs

Manage client expectations by providing continuous communication on project budget and schedule

Assist with comprehensive project schedules

Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process

Collaborate with field superintendents and subcontractors to ensure a smooth project schedule

Mediate field conflicts between subcontractors

Negotiate and write contracts with subcontractors and vendors

Expedite permitting with state and local government agencies

Organize project weather logs, safety reports, and daily Superintendent reports

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

2+ years of Construction General Contractors experience

NOT including internship experience

Experience with RFIs and Submittals

Experience with Construction Software: Bluebeam, Submittal Exchange (or similar)

Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering

Project experience from commercial projects

Organization skills

Ability to multitask (Will be working on multiple projects at the same time)

Must have valid US driver's license

Must have valid work authorization

Not educational extension

Must be immediately local
