Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing customer applications, maintaining customer records and resolving customer inquiries. This is a long-term contract role.Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices. Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate records. Oversee the check runs process to maintain financial stability. Code invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization. Enter data accurately and efficiently into the necessary systems. Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data. Familiarize and work with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software for various accounting tasks. Maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure up-to-date information. Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the real estate property or facilities management industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) Experience in check runs and coding invoices Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred.
