Job Description - Operations Engineer
Our client is a well-known independent financial sevices firm downtown Chicago and they are looking for an Operation Engineer to be a part of their operations team downtown. This opporuintity would be 100% remote until September 7th then move to a hybrid role where they would need someone in the office 2-3 days a week. The following skillsets would be ideal:- 50-60% assistance moving to the cloud
- VMWare (Zerto if possible)
- Storage opportunities in the cloud (Their on prem NAS is NetApp, so any experience there is beneficial)
- Monitoring (They are implementing a new Monitoring environment using ManageEngine OpsManage)
- Office365 / Exchange / Active Directory / Email Archiving / Intune
- SSO - Ping Identity
- Checkpoint Firewalls / Infoblox DNS / Cisco Routers and Sitches
- Cisco ASA VPN
- Checkpoint both ipSec VPN and Application
- Patching - They have a partner who primarily handles this but needs help tightening the process
- Windows and Linux background
