Job Description: Summer Camp Instructor and Site Coordinator

Position: Summer Camp Instructor and Site Coordinator Duration: Six-week summer camp from June 24, 2024, to August 1, 2024, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Location: CPS school site and Suburban School Districts)

Job Summary: The Summer Camp Instructor and Site Coordinator position involves leading and coordinating activities for K-12 scholars in a fun and educational environment.

The Site Coordinator will ensure that camp operations are managed and organized effectively, while Independent Contractor Instructors will teach within their assigned disciplines.

Payment will be rendered at the end of summer camp. Instructors work typically one hour per day depending on student size.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and educational lessons in your assigned discipline.

2. Manage classroom effectively with top-tier classroom management skills.

3. Collaborate with other instructors and the Site Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the camp.

4. Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants.

5. Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to create a fun and optimistic camp environment.

6. Adhere to camp policies and procedures, including dress code requirements (Khaki pants and Kid Millionaire Corp. Polo), professional appearance, and hygiene standards.

7. Provide a high level of professionalism in all interactions with campers, parents, and staff.

8. Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings.

9. Assist in coordinating and supervising field trips and special activities as needed.

Requirements: 1. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2. Must pass a criminal background check.

3. Experience working with K-12 scholars in an educational setting.

4. Reliable transportation to and from the camp location.

5. Submission of a professional resume outlining relevant experience and qualifications.

6. Willingness to commit to the full duration of the summer camp.
