Middle Management Position

We are seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Middle Management position in a real estate office in the north suburbs of Wilmette, IL.

Candidate must have the following skills:

- Ability to be detail-oriented and have a keen attention to detail.

- Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task their assignments.

- Ability to quickly and accurately verify and proof written information and answer questions about information presented in a table format.

- Ability to handle all basic functionality of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and comfortable accessing and searching for sites on the internet.

- Must have a basic understanding of mathematical computation and concepts (such as calculating percentages, applying discounts, and basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).

- Ability to identify word usage, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization errors in written correspondence.

Candidate must be able to handle the following responsibilities:

- Receive/Direct/Answer all incoming calls from customers and property managers.

- Manage all communication between tenants, property managers, and the facilities team.

- Legal drafting of 10/30 day notices of violation, drafting of holdover notices, drafting of termination notices.

- Verify lease signing in compliance, monitor cash receipts of leases, and correct any/all lease errors.

- Draft, create, and send renewal/extension leases/negotiations.

- Draft memos for the CEO.

- Track all incoming requests and schedule showings for buildings.

- Create/Enter all vacancies into our data system.

- Provide complaint notices to all tenants.

- Main point of contact for CHA/HACC/Section 8 leasing emails and renewals.

- Order and update disclosure packets for Chicago, Evanston, and Cook County.

- Manage all future vacancy and renewal lists to ensure the property marking procedure is followed.

- Sort all mail received at the office.

- Performing all other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
