Job Title: General Manager – Multi-Center Bowling Operations
Location: Chicagoland Area (Managing two bowling centers)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at two bowling centers in the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the bowling business, capable of managing staff, improving operations, growing league and event participation, and enhancing the customer experience across both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations of both bowling centers
Implement and upgrade systems for efficiency, bookings, POS, inventory, and maintenance
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and service across both venues
Staff Management
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all employees
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development
Manage payroll and ensure labor cost efficiency
League Development & Retention
Build and grow in-house leagues with creative marketing and community outreach
Foster strong relationships with league bowlers and captains
Organize league schedules, rules, standings, and prize structures
Event & Party Hosting
Plan and execute public and private events, including corporate outings, birthday parties, and community functions
Collaborate with kitchen/bar teams and outside vendors for seamless event execution
Ensure all event operations run smoothly from booking to breakdown
Marketing & Community Engagement
Partner with ownership on marketing strategies (social media, email, print, local outreach)
Represent the centers at community events, networking functions, and league nights
Track KPIs, customer feedback, and use data to inform decisions
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a General Manager or equivalent in the bowling, FEC, or hospitality industry
Strong leadership and people management skills
Knowledge of league bowling operations and tournament setup
Experience with POS systems, payroll software, and scheduling platforms
Proven track record of increasing revenue and improving customer experience
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Reliable transportation between both centers
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Brunswick or QubicaAMF systems
Local network or ties to the Chicagoland bowling community
Event planning experience
