Key Responsibilities:

Record Financial Transactions: Accurately document all daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Ensure timely payment of bills, invoices, and collections of outstanding receivables.

Reconcile Bank Statements: Regularly reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Maintain General Ledger: Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all accounts are correctly categorized and balanced.

Prepare Financial Reports: Assist with generating periodic financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll and ensure that employee compensation, taxes, and deductions are accurately calculated.

Tax Filing Support: Help prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, maintaining records for tax purposes.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.

Good communication skills and the ability to work with others in a team environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; an associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance-related role is beneficial.

Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate from $15-$20 based on your experience
