Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Accounting/Customer Service Specialist. This role will primarily involve handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, with additional responsibilities covering customer service duties as needed.
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 / Hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Generate and send out invoices to customers, track receivables, and follow up on overdue payments as necessary.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Provide backup support for customer service inquiries, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries or issues effectively and ensure a positive customer experience.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for accounting and customer service activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounting, with knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
Prior experience in customer service or a related field is a plus.
