Job Title: Handyman
Location: Carbondale
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of maintenance and repair skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service. We are seeking individuals with strong experience in carpentry, drywall, masonry, and flooring installation (LVP). All materials will be provided (ex. Paint, drywall, lumber, and etc.), but you will need to have your own tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities.
Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
Install and repair fixtures, furniture, and appliances.
Handle minor landscaping and outdoor maintenance.
Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
Familiarity with tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications or trade school training.
Experience with HVAC systems, roofing, or other specialized skill
Pay is $30 per hour. Hours are scheduled per project.
