THIS IS A 12 HOUR ROTATING DAY SHIFT POSITION- 6AM -6PMKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions Follow all Lock Out/Tag Out rules and demostrate safe work behaviors at all timesFocus on self-development through onsite/offsite OEM training and on the job training from other team membersAssist and learn from other maintenance personnelAnswer machine alarms as they occur and identify and address the root causeMonitor processes, show an awareness of issues and demonstrate corrective actions to address those issues  Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical malfunction on a variety of machines  Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment (assembly and packaging machines), including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devices primarily on the basis of electronic principles Assist with uploading programs to controls in the events of program loss or CPU replacement Repair robot arms and controls, including replacing bad boards, motors, encoders, etc.  Adjusts assembly machine units for major/minor lot production operations following department specification  Input Maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP)  Maintains ongoing list of CMMS work orders with timeline to be addressed and completed. Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment Conduct TPM activities as required Check and maintain quality of product being produced by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable product in accordance with Quality policies and procedures Maintains good communications with Maintenance LeaderBrainstorms with other maintenance personnel, and outside technical support as needed. Ensures the work is completed with technical excellence, and in an efficient and cost-effective fashion. Actively participate on teams and offer suggestions for improvement Follow all 5S guidelines  Comply with all company policies  Other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent required3 or more years of relevant experience OR equivalent technical educationExperience or education in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, and roboticsKnowledge of PLC programming and troubleshootingAbility to regularly lift up to 40lbs with repetitive movements Ability to push and pull items and climb up and down ladders Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required and SAP experience preferred Ability to work independently from verbal and/or written instructions required Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts Must be mechanically inclined and can use basic hand tools Must have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity WORK ENVIRONMENT:Works in a clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel
