Description:Field Technician (Mechanical) is responsible for traveling 75% of the time - national travel. Will fly out to customer site and spend a week there and back home on Friday or over the weekend. Other 25% is working in the service office in Buffalo Grove, IL assisting with technical support and hands-on equipment troubleshooting. Field Service Technician is repairing, troubleshooting and installing packaging equipment. Conduct training with client maintenance staff and technicians / operators. FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Degree is a plus
5+ years of Field Experience with Allen Bradley systems
Packaging Equipment Experience Strongly desired – Cartoners, Case Packers, Palletizers, Baggers, Wrappers – Secondary Packaging Equipment
Kinetics servo motion / Bosch / Rexroth / Indramat – servo motion, recommended (or ability to pick up quickly)
Experience with programming capital equipment
Electro-Mechanical – capability and willingness for hands on work (will turn a wrench at times)
Good work ethic & customer skills
