Job DescriptionSignode Industrial Group has an opportunity for an experienced Mechanic tojoin their maintenance team. The successful candidate must have a"safety-first" mindset, be a self-motivated technical professional working withthe maintenance team to support the operation, and provide customer service toall plant employees. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting andrepair of a wide range of industrial equipment, and for the installation of mechanicalequipment and utility services for new equipment and for equipment relocatedand upgraded. The ideal candidate will ensure that the plant and equipment aremaintained at the highest performance level and will strive to minimizing cost,energy usage, and waste in accordance with corporate policies and health andsafety regulations. This individual will possess excellent interpersonal skillsand will interact and function effectively as an integral part of the Safety,Production, Quality, and Maintenance Team here at Signode.
