Our manufacturing client is seeking a direct hire, Quality Engineering Manager to join their team. This person would be a part of initiatives to reduce NCRs, reduction in inspection, and auditing. This would be located in the Chicago, IL area.Job Title: Quality Engineering ManagerLocation: Chicago, ILPay Range: $135K-$160KMust be US Citizen OR Green Card Holder StatusWhat’s the Job?
Responsible for management and/or oversight of product quality and quality systems such as annual quality reviews, change control, and quality agreements to ensure conformance with applicable aerospace requirements such as ISO and AS9100 certifications as well as Customer and industry specific requirements
Prepares for and represents the company during all ISO / AS9100, NADCAP, and related audits
Oversee internal audit program
Maintain the facility’s Corrective and Preventative Action System
Must be onsite 100%
What’s Needed?
Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree with equivalent experience
Aerospace industry experience. AS9100
NADCAP experience/understanding
5+ years in a Quality Engineering Leadership role
Must be able to be onsite 100% of the time.
