Principle Responsibilities:
Provide First Aid treatment to injured employees from various parts of the facility
Must be able to carry, lift and maneuver first aid response bag (weighting between 30-40 lbs.), back board, stretcher, AED, wheel chair and any other medical necessities when responding to an accident.
Administer, document and track vaccinations (including-Tetanus, Hepatitis B)
Perform Drug and Alcohol screening for Powered Industrial Truck operators, and as required
Conduct annual hearing testing for facility employees
Assist in conducting Daily restrictive duty checks
Must be able to document and maintain nursing documentation after each employee visit or communication
Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
Deliver courteous and professional communications at all times
Notify the safety department any time there is a serious accident
Must be flexible with work schedule
And any other duties as reasonably associated with the above duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Combination of office setting as well as production and maintenance settings
Exposure to various chemicals, machinery and knives likely
Slippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise prevail
Generally works 9 to 10 hour days, 5-6 days a week and could be considered on call additional hours
Requirements:Education:
High School Degree/GED equivalency required
RN/LPN/LVN license
Must be able to read and write English
Spanish a plus, but not required
