Position Title: Warehouse AttendantDepartment: Packaging and R & M WarehouseLocation: Beardstown, IL Pork PlantSalary Class: Non ExemptTitle of Supervisor: Warehouse SupervisorPurpose and Scope: Unload freight and maintain warehouse.Principle Responsibilities:Issue, receive, and inventory packaging in all storage locations in plant facility.Unload trucks and stock items as they arrive.Travel to vendor locations to pick up necessary materials.Communicate with Buyers on inventory levels and shortages.Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy.Cleaning and organizing work areas.Maintain locations for added stock, deleted stock, and increased stock.Coverage for label cage when needed.Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned by Supervisor.Working Conditions: Work 40 hours per week. Overtime will be required.
