- As a key member of the Strategy & Insights group with a focus on Pharmaceuticals, you will serve as an industry expert and a strategic thought partner in the generic pharmaceutical space for the Pharmaceuticals GBU, corporate, and regional leadership teams
- Lead the market modeling across Pharmaceuticals franchise; develop and maintain the regional and global models in generic injectables
- Lead a variety of high priority strategy projects; these typically involved problem framing, conducting research (primary and secondary) and analytic modeling, liaising between the GBU, regional, and corporate teams, and facilitating cross-functional activities to synthesize insights and actionable recommendations
- Monitor competitive landscape and own competitive intelligence in the generic pharmaceutical space (competitive earnings/presentations; conduct primary and secondary intelligence studies); synthesize learning into actionable insights for the stakeholders across GBU, corporate, and local business teams; deliver real-time alerts as well as monthly reporting for leadership teams.
- Manage, extract, and synthesize insights from database (IQVIA, equity research, etc.)
- End-to-end manage market research, including both in-house and vendor-supported projects; draw insights relevant and actionable for the business
- Attend regular business meetings and occasionally travel to key conferences and/or with sales team to further establish business connectivity.

- 80/20 work approach, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple on-going projects
- Modeling - at least 1 year of experience in advanced Excel modeling (financial analysis, market sizing, and decision making) is required; proficiency in Alteryx and other analytic platforms is an advantage.
- Research - Experienced in primary and secondary research, inclusive of competitive intelligence research, is required (defining the problems, engaging with vendors, designing and conducting the studies, collecting and analyzing results, synthesizing results into meaningful insights for the business)
- Presentation - High proficiency in Powerpoint, Mekko and/or Thinkcell is a plus (producing presentation materials for various levels of leaderships)
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is required; experience in generic injectables is a plus.
- 4+ year of experience in strategy, and/or finance is highly preferred
- Mature, self-aware individual with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Has experience working with and presenting to senior leaders
- Strong finance and analytical skills
- Highly competent communicator, both orally and in writing
