$3,000 Sign-On Bonus!This position is eligible for a $3,000 Sign-on Bonus!The pay-out schedule is: $1,500 at time of hire, $1,500 after one year of employment.€‹€‹€‹€‹Current RUSH employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.Be part of Rush Copley Medical Group as a Registered Nurse!Position Summary:The Registered Nurse will support multiple providers at RUSH Pediatrics Aurora and RUSH Pediatrics and Family Medicine Oswego. RN may be scheduled at either location.The registered nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients’ status, plan of care, and goal achievement. Care is provided in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion based on the Caring Model, exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Rush Copley, and is in accordance with policies and procedures. The registered nurse is expected to uphold the most ethical and safe processes while keeping the care of the patient as a top priority. The position works closely with the entire multidisciplinary team and must have a complete understanding of own limitations and, in turn, seek advice, judgment and support of others, when necessary.Position Description/Requirements:

Responsibilities include the following: Telephone triage according to established practice guidelines, patient education, medication refills and administering injections as necessary.

Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license required.

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. BSN must be achieved within 5 years of hire.

American Heart Association CPR Required

Excellent oral/written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures

Medical practice management and EMR software experience preferred (specifically Epic).

Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) helpful.
