Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Credit Analyst in Aurora, Illinois. In this role, you will be operating within the financial industry, assessing and managing credit requests, and ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer records.Responsibilities: Evaluate customers' credit data and financial statements in order to assess the degree of risk involved in extending credits. Collaborate with internal teams such as legal, finance, and operations to ensure all credit processes are handled efficiently. Regularly update credit files and monitor credit portfolio for trends. Use your skills in CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Utilize your knowledge in Cash Flow Analysis and Collection Processes to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making credit decisions. Establish credit limits and risk ratings based on the assessment of clients' financial history. Address client concerns and provide solutions during meetings. Suggest appropriate interest rates based on the analysis of credit reports. Assist with the approval or rejection of lines of credit and commercial, real estate, or personal loans. Use your expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Credit Application to maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Demonstrated expertise in Cash Flow Analysis Familiarity with Collection Processes Solid understanding of Credit and Credit Applications Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information. Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge to keep up with industry changes.
