- Knowledge of best practices in software development methodologies, processes, and technologies
- Ability to articulate and promote project management best-practices
- Highly focused, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
- Able to estimate task completion times and follow through on deadlines and commitments
- Work both independently and within a team
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Mentor junior engineers as needed. Holds everyone to high coding standards, leads by example
