3rd Shift Quality Auditor

The Quality Auditor is responsible for assisting the Quality team with inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.This position supports our 3rd shift which works Sunday - Wednesday from 7:45 pm - 6:15 am.Accountabilities:Assists in inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.Documents and coordinates inspection reports and procedures.Investigate quality issues and their causes.Help perform audits.Implement process improvements to help reduce quality issues.Assist team leaders and other staff in process improvements, quality training, and identification and resolution of problems.Assist production associates in following documented instructions.Assists in making decisions on highly diversified work (under direction of Quality Supervisor).Able to bend, twist, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull and stack materials.Understands, carries out, responds and contributes to all written and verbal departmental instructions.Contributes as a team member and assists other teams in continuous improvement activities.Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work area, keeping the safety of self and others in mind at all times.Maintains company and department quality standards.Assists in maintaining production goals, including flexible hours as required.Follows all established safety practices and procedures, including reading and understanding materials and safety data sheet.
