Welder & FabricatorPay: $19 - $23 (based on weld test)Shift: 1st shiftJob DescriptionAs a Welder, you will be responsible for for assembling, welding, and finishing products and equipment for various sports arenas and stadiums.Responsibilities
Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement.
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Examine welds for bead size and other specifications.
Apply filler rod manually to supply weld metal.
Clean or degrease weld joints or workpieces.
Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixture.
Essential Skills
Experience with blueprints.
MIG welding experience (6+ months)
Basic understanding of welding fundamentals.
Experience with stainless, mild, or carbon steel.
Positive attendance history.
Experience with assembly, structural welding, and measuring tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Eagerness to learn.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Open to overtime.
Available to work on the first shift.
