About Us:SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 200 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 165,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.Note: SWD is a Drug-Free workplace. That means we are growing, and growing fast! We are seeking a full-time Dip Spin Machine Operator. We have openings on our 3rd shift.This full time role must also be able to work Monday-Saturday!
3rd shift: 11pm-7am, starting at $19.50/hr
Job Responsibilities:
Assist foreman with delegated duties
Load jobs into the barrels as required
Assist in loading and unloading of metal parts
Review of shop orders
Drive a lift truck
Knowledge of proper safety policies and procedures
Assist maintenance department technician in troubleshooting line problems
Qualifications:
This is an Entry Level Machine Operator position(training provided!)
GED or High School Diploma (preferred not required)
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Manufacturing experience preferred
You must be available to work weekends
